Npcap needs to be downloaded and installed separately. It's a required component. DPS meter won't work without Npcap.

Requirements

Installation and Configuration

1. Install Npcap:

   • Ensure 'Install Npcap in Winpcap API-compatible Mode' is checked during installation.

2. Launch DPS Meter:

   • Start the DPS Meter before logging into or selecting a game server.

3. Configure Network Connection:

   • In the DPS Meter menu, go to Network -> Adapter and select the correct adapter.
   • If using a VPN, set the correct port in Network -> Port (e.g., WTFast uses 3724, Battleping uses 443).

4. Connect to Game Server:

   • A green light in the top right corner of the DPS Meter indicates a successful connection.

Troubleshooting

• If you encounter issues with Npcap installation, check for Win10pcap residual files and remove them.
• Ensure all required Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Packages are installed.

VPN Compatibility

• The DPS Meter supports multiple VPNs including WTFast, Battleping, VPNGame, PingZapper, NoPing, Exitlag, ReduceTheLag, and MUDFISH.
• Specific port and adapter settings may be required for each VPN.
